go-to outfit: tank top shift dress
Spring has officially sprung! We’re a full week into spring already, I feel like time is always flying; I think that’s a good thing?! During my trip to the Florida Keys I got plenty of wear out of this bright blue tank top shift dress. P.S. I am already ready for another trip to Key Largo, who’s with me? I can confirm that my favorite hot weather go-to outfit is definitely a shift dress. Perfect to dress up or stay casual and I feel so free in this dress! Throw on some ankle booties for a more casual look, or grab a pair of block heel sandals and toss on a few more accessories to dress up the shift dress! Not to mention, you can find these dresses so cheap! Mine was like $12 from Forever 21.
This BaubleBar necklace was perfect for my trip to the Key’s, all I had to do was throw on the dress and necklace (super quick; no time to waste in Key Largo) and I was ready to set sail to lunch! For happy hour, I switched out my sandals with heels, grabbed a cardigan and was off to the Pilot House for some oysters on a half shell, YUM. Who’s a fan?
Another fabulous thing about shift dresses is that they don’t take up much room in your luggage… (let’s be honest my checked bag and backpack were full to the max) Also, these dresses are easy to throw in if you are headed out and need an outfit change at hand.
