Wake up, coffee + creamer.
What exactly are you pouring into your morning cup of Joe? If you add creamer, that is.
As I anxiously brew a cup of coffee, I must have creamer. Milk and sugar will do if that is my ONLY option, but I’d prefer someting sweeter! And if a local coffee shop were preparing my espresso, I’d love a caramel macchiato or mocha!
However, have you ever looked at the ingredients in most creamers? What is half of that? I USUALLY use Coffee-mate and when I bought the new Coffee-mate ‘natural bliss’ pumpkin spice creamer I got to thinking… what exactly was I putting in my body first thing every morning, what's in the "un-natural" creamer? I did some researching and… yikes!
Here are the ingredients in the “regular” Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice liquid creamer:

Vegetable Oil [high oleic soybean and/or high oleic canola] (I mean who really wants vegetable oil in their coffee…? *Less than 2% of the following*

Hello, ONLY 4 ingredients compared to 11 & still a delicious pumkpin spice creamer!
So, here is what I’m thinking…
If it’s something you’re using EVERYDAY and you can avoid the chemicals and additives, and still have a DELICIOUS taste, then DO IT! I love trying new flavors! I love a good ole gas station coffee with an assortment of creamers!! So, using the “non-natural” creamers every now and then is definetely yummy to me. No need to be a stickler when you can have something delicious… Am I right!
But, on most days I’ll stick with fewer ingredients and skip the additives, chemicals and vegetable oil! ALSO, now you can add an extra sweet treat later in your day by cutting out the bad stuff first thing!
